JazzrockTV #128 KAMA Quartett

Das KAMA Quartett veröffentlichte 2016 ein beeindruckendes Tribute Album. John Coltrane‘s “A Love Supreme” wurde mit Einflüssen aus Jazzrock und Rock neu interpretiert. In 2017 wurde zudem eine Live eingespielte und limitiert verfügbare Vinyl Version des tollen Werks herausgebracht.

Das KAMA Quartet sind Katharina Maschmeyer (Saxophone), Nils Pollheide (Guitar), Philipp Rüttgers (Keys), Jens Otto (Drums) sowie der Percussionist Nippy Noya. Wir haben die Band in ihrem Studio in Osnabrück besucht und neben einer exklusiven Live-Session viel Information zur Entstehung der Alben erfahren.

KAMA Quartett are Katharina Maschmeyer (Saxophone), Nils Pollheide (Guitar), Philipp Rüttgers (Keys), Jens Otto (Drums) and percussion master Nippy Noya. We met the band at her Studio in Osnabrück where they played an small exclusive Session for us and talked about the creation of the albums.
