YASSMO’ with his great band live on JazzrockTV at the Jam In The Basement. The singer & keyboarder from the Köln/Bonn region delivered a grooving Soul & Funk Jam in the JazzrockTV studio, which certainly does not only make the neighbors of the JazzrockTV studio sit up and take notice.

Coming from a musical family, today’s singer and keyboarder Yassmo’ came to singing very late – born of necessity to finance his studies as a bar pianist. Influenced by his idols Stevie Wonder, Al Jarreau, Marvin Gaye, and Mr. P-Funk, George Clinton, he began to work on his own style. A special feature are energetic “unisono-skat-improvisations” of vocals and keyboards, as precise as horns, funky and melodic.
