Another live-performance from the JazzrockTV studio in Cologne. The fusion-trio FLUX by the world-class musicians Thomas Langer (guitar), Paul Gehrig (hammond) and master-drummer Claus Hessler played a great concert and shared some insights of the band and their vision.

With FLUX, three one-of-a kind musicians have teamed up for this powerhouse trio: Paul Gehrig (hammond), Claus Hessler (drums) and Thomas Langer (guitar) share a passion for a crossover from rock to jazz to pop to latin, furious interplay on stage and old-school vintage sounds with a restored hammond organ from the late 30’s being the core of their unique sound. Following the last record ON FIRE, their third new album ON EARTH is focussing on yet another element of nature – showcasing the steady evolving process of their musical concept.

Mit FLUX bilden drei Ausnahmemusiker ein Power Trio der besonderen Art: Paul Gehrig (hammond), Claus Hessler (drums) und Thomas Langer (git) teilen die Leidenschaft für den Crossover zwischen Rock, Jazz, Pop und Latin, furioses Interplay und Spielfreude auf der Bühne und “old school” Vintage Klänge mit einer Hammond Orgel aus den 30er Jahren als Herzstück des unverkennbaren Bandsounds.
