JazzrockTV – Jam In The Basement – RAY GREENE

Lead vocalist of Tower of Power and guitar legend Carlos Santana RAY GREENE performed an exclusive tour kick-off show at the JazzrockTV studio for a selected limited audience. Beside some groovin’ and funky soul classics he presented his new album “Stay” representing his musical history from Gospel to R&B and Soul.

Not only being an outstanding powerful vocalist Ray Greene is also a professional trombone player and was leading the horn section of Tower of Power for many years. The band also features REGGIE WASHINGTON on bass who was a key participant in the Modern Jazz revolution of the ’80s and ’90s and have been touring, recording, and performing with Steve Coleman, Branford Marsalis, Roy Hargrove, Cassandra Wilson, Jean-Paul Bourelly, The Headhunters, Randy Brecker and many more.
