We had the amazing italian bass player, producer and arranger LORENZO FELICIATI for an interview in our JazzrockTV LIVE. Lorenzo issued a variety of albums over the years and has collaborated with Bob Mintzer (Yellowjackets), Pat Mastelotto (King Crimson), Cuong Vu (Pat Metheny Group), Chad Wackerman (Frank Zappa, Allan Holdsworth), Steve Jansen (Japan, David Sylvian), Martin Verdonk (Prince, Chaka Khan, Stevie Winwood), Sean Freeman (Level 42, Eric Clapton, Joe Bonamassa) and many more.

On his recent album RUMBLE (EP) he collaborated with drummer Jason JT Thomas (Snarky Puppy, FORQ, Roy Hargrove) and the “Koi Horn Section” featuring Stan Adams (trombone), Pierluigi Bastioli (bass trombone) and Duilio Ingrossom (baritone sax).

We had a great talk with Lorenzo about his current album and former releases introducing the Koi Horns. He also spoke about his musical and composing approaches for his albums and the collaborations with musicians from all over the world.

As an outlook we can also present a first clip from the upcoming project BUMERANG of Lorenzo Feliciati, Niels Voskuil and Richard Hallebeek which will be released on 1st of November 2020 and can be pre-ordered already now.
